I ordered the takeaway once, and I felt that the cooking was very casual, completely inconsistent with the graphics and text. It's not delicious either. 1. Sichuan cold noodles are bean sprouts noodles, the noodles are still section by section, not delicious, completely inconsistent with the picture. As shown. I don't eat meat, and I order only vegetarian dishes. This noodle has a meaty smell, which is very helpless. 3. The hot and sour jue root noodles are a little bit sour, not spicy at all! It was mixed with carrot shreds... and all are together (but this may be a long-distance takeaway, time issue, can forgive me) but I am really speechless for this match... I guess what it matches , Feel free to play... the peanuts are not crispy. There is not a single potato in the Griddle of Vegetarian Vegetables, which is inconsistent with the picture, but even this one is in line with the vegetarian food... The only advantage is that the steamed rice with hot dishes gives a marinated egg. I didn’t expect this meal, only the marinated egg was delicious! ! ! As far as this meal I ordered is really not recommended!

Finally found a great Hot Pot place in Cologne! Amazingly tasty hot pot and wonderful service. I’ve yet to try the other dishes, but from what I saw on the card they serve authentic Chinese food. I will definitely visit again.

It is delicious and pure Sichuan cuisine. The taste is very good. Mao Xuewang is especially recommended. It is a rare delicacy in Chinese restaurants abroad. The staff is very warm and friendly. The proprietress is also very enthusiastic. The attitude of the staff is good and nothing is said. The second recommendation is the self-service hot pot. I have to go to their home to eat it almost every two weeks. The butter hot pot is said to be made by myself. The taste is good and the spicy is perfect. The hot pot buffet eaten here is just in time for the Christmas promotion. The 20 Euro package drink buffet and cold dishes are actually very cost-effective. As a Sichuanese, it can be said responsibly that hot pot tastes better than most German hot pots. The variety of self-serve seasonings is comprehensive, and even sauces such as sand tea sauce and chilli sauce are available. There are 8 kinds of cold dishes to choose from, including delicious trotters. The flavor of the hot pot is also great, and beef and mutton rolls can be added at will.

I have a hard time understanding that there are still 4 points. I don't think there are more 3 points. The dishes are expensive, and each main course is about 5 euros more expensive than other restaurants. The first picture, the spicy incense pot is actually boiled? The second picture, braised pork ribs, I almost thought it was a large dish of chicken with less bones. The taste is average, don't use it as a spicy pot, you can still eat it. At least cooked.

Was in this restaurant weeks ago during lunch time. Ordered 2 bowls of noodles ( beef noodles and dan dan noodles), the soup and meat tasted good. However, noodles is not hand-made and a bit overcooked and too soft imo. I am particularly critical about noodles so I'll rate it 3.5-4 stars for the food. The service is good, plus the price is reasonable. Ramp up rating to 5 stars. Will go there again next time.

I have eaten a lot of Chinese food in Cologne, but this is the most recommended. The little fairy is from the south. It is super suitable for me. It is full of hometown flavor and super love Sichuan cuisine.

Finding this first floor restaurant was a surprise especially as most of the external signage is in Chinese. Perhaps it explains why we were the only Westerners there. The staff were very attentive and spoke English. We had a delicious meal (spicy - Sichuan style) and had a long chat with a group of Chinese youngsters on an adjoining table - a very pleasant evening

Great place! I was hoping to find some good authentic Sichuan cuisine on a recent visit to Cologne, and this place did not disappoint. I had the spicy eggplant, which came with a pork sauce, and I also ordered shrimp dumplings (har gow). The dumplings were lovely, full of the flavor of sweet, fresh shrimp. And the eggplant was addictively good. The portion was so generous that I had to get a box, so I'll have the chance to enjoy it again in my apartment! The restaurant is located on the corner of a building, up on the second floor, so the dining area is full of light. And it is convenient to the shopping streets, museums and cathedral.

If you love spicy food or want to experience authentic (Sichuan) cuisine, this is the place. The prices are affordable and the portions are big. Go with friends so u can order more dishes and share!

The restaurant is quiet in the middle of the city, Mao Xuewang is very tender and fresh, and it can be spicier. Stir-fried beans and fried intestines and hot and sour Chinese cabbage are very good. Next time I want to taste Juegen powder and wonton

Best Chinese restaurant for authentic Chinese kitchen in cologne. I recommend the spicy boiled fish.

Arrived at opening as one of the first people there and waited 50 minutes before giving up and leaving, aparently the food was still nowhere near ready. We just ordered some vege fried rice and a simple tofu dish - something relatively quick and simple at every other Chinese restaurant in the world, which we chose due to believing it would be fast as we needed to get the train. 2 other groups who ordered food after us received their food well before we left, which added to the frustration - we weren't sure if they had priority because they were Chinese as this can sometimes be the case in other establishments. Location was good and the staff were nice, speaking 3 languages well. The bathroom was clean and the restaurant was a bit bland in decor and atmosphere, but nice. The food was a bit overpriced, though we cant say if it was worth it since we never received it. We weren't offered any compensation such as a discount or voucher for next time, but at least they didnt try to charge us.
